Homeopathy vs. Allopathy
From a homeopathic standpoint, allopathic medications are very suppressive, which means they remove the top layer of symptoms, but they push the issue, or disease, deeper into the system. Where there is a time and place for allopathic meds, in the end you aren't really addressing the root cause. You might find this to be the case as you chase your never ending migraines with pain meds, or arthritis, menstrual issues, chronic allergies, sore throats, etc. It can be, what seems to be, a never ending battle. However, it doesn't have to be. As we say in homeopathy "every symptom that the body expresses has something in the natural world to heal it", or in a shorter words "we have a remedy for that".
So, you are thinking about giving homeopathy a chance are you? Let's discuss what you can expect from a homeopathic consult....
We take a very detailed health history. We cover all of you, both mentally, physically and emotionally. Where this isn't a therapy sessions per say, and your deepest secrets not need to be revealed, we do need to know what trauma's that you have experienced in your life. Trauma steals our vitality, and knowing what has stolen your vitality helps us to see a much larger picture of your overall health.
The first session takes time. You can anticipate at least an hour for the first consult due to the reasons listed in number 1.
We want to know everything about you. Everything from your favorite foods, to whether or not you like music, and how well you sleep. We can ask some crazy questions, but don't worry, they all have reason and purpose.
You most likely will not get a remedy suggestion that same day. We need to take all of the information that you share with us and digest it. I always explain it as I am "working on your case". In this sense it takes us time, roughly 5-7 business days are my turn around times for a case analysis. If it is an acute case I get remedy suggestions to you the same day. Acutes are symptoms lasting less than 2 weeks, a chronic case is 2 weeks+. Chronic cases take longer to get a case analysis.
Chronic healing takes time. One must have patience when using homeopathy. You didn't get like this overnight, so it is important to know that homeopathy is not a quick fix, and it warrants your full participation.
We will ask you to track your progress. We ask that you keep notes on your phone, journal or even a scrap piece of paper will work. Either way we will want to know how you have been doing at your 2 week follow-up.
Follow-ups and appointments can all be done remotely. Many of us have both an office and we work from home, and we can see clients all over the world. We are happy to work with you no matter your location.
You have to stay in contact. This healing journey is up to you. We need full participation and communication for it to be successful. I really love for my clients to send me updates via email. This helps me to stay up on their progress. It is free and it allows me to see if we need to pivot the case in a different direction.
Homeopathy is NOT one size fits all. You are an individual, and you will be treated that way. We will tailor your case and remedy to fit YOU, and no one else.
Homeopathy is very affordable. Where some homeopaths charge upwards to $300+ for a chronic case, some of us only charge $165 and lower. Chronic case management for my clients, which are additional sessions after the $165 is paid where we adjust your case are only $35. Remedies cost as little as $7. This is the most affordable medicine on the planet.
Homeopaths aren't perfect. We make mistakes sometimes, and don't always get it right the first time, but we are dedicated to the art of homeopathy. We believe in this medicine, and we have seen the true healing that can take place with these remedies.
